AIF Capital is pleased to announce the investment of US$10.0 million by AIF Capital Fund IV in Huy Vietnam Group Limited (“Huy”), Vietnam’s largest operator of self-managed, local Vietnamese food restaurants. The investment forms part of Huy’s US$15.0 million Series B fundraising.
Huy Vietnam Group is Vietnam’s largest, independently operated restaurant chain focused on serving Vietnamese cuisine with over 40 restaurants across three brand concepts, Mon Hue, Com Ngon and Pho Ong Hung. Operating since 2007, the company serves affordable and authentic local Vietnamese cuisine in modern and comfortable environment with high quality and consistency.
“The Series B round of funding will allow us to leverage our market leading position in Ho Chi Minh City and expand to Vietnam’s capital, Hanoi,” said Mr. KY Huy, co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Huy, “we believe our multi-restaurant brand strategy fits well with the local Vietnamese market.”
