CMR Green is India’s largest producer of recycled aluminium alloys and other metals with a combined annual capacity of over 600,000 metric tons of scrap metal. CMR commenced operations in 2006 and is headquartered near Faridabad, Haryana, India.

With a significant presence in North and West India and an expanding footprint in the South and East, CMR is the largest pan-India player in the field with 42-45% national market share and is quickly becoming a leading regional player. CMR introduced the molten delivery of aluminium in 2008, supplying through manufacturing facilities located near customer premises, and via road transport since 2013. CMR has developed multiple technologies over the years and has numerous JVs with leading global players.

Since AIF Capital’s investment, CMR has grown from 4 to 13 facilities and now has a recycling capacity of over 600,000 metric tons of scrap metal every year, a sevenfold increase. The company has also diversified into additional metal recycling verticals, as well as serving primary aluminium producers with scrap metal. It has also continued to build its customer base and now serves most of the Indian automobile and ancillary component OEMs.
