Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Jiangsu, China, Aosheng is one of Asia’s largest carbon fibre composites (CFC) producers. Its CFC products are applied in a wide range of downstream areas, including wind power, medical equipment, automotive, and civil engineering materials to name a few. Aosheng has a diversified portfolio of blue-chip customers globally and a strong competitive edge in producing wind-blade related CFCs.
Carbon fibre is widely considered a superior material with extensive applications and huge potential. It is light weight, high strength, highly elastic, and resistant to thermal expansion, friction and corrosion, and is one of the most corrosion-resistant materials available. Carbon fibre is mixed with epoxy resin and other materials to become a composite for industrial applications.
Aosheng has more than 600 employees and over 60,000 square metres of production facilities that consume over 10,000 tonnes of carbon fibre raw material annually. It owns 83 patents including 35 invention patents, and has well-rounded technical capabilities such as weaving, laminating, prepreg, pressing, RTM, CNC, pultrusion and comprehensive internal lab testing.
Since AIF Capital’s investment, Aosheng has grown its wind-blade related revenue from zero to over 50% of total revenue. Aosheng is also a key supplier to one of the largest wind turbine manufacturers globally, and a regular winner of production quality awards. Aosheng is expected to continue to benefit from strong growth in the renewable energy space.
CMR Green is India’s largest producer of recycled Aluminum alloys and other metals with a combined annual capacity of over 300,000 MT.
With a significant presence in North and West India and an expanding footprint in the South and East, CMR is the largest pan-India player in the field and is quickly becoming a leading regional player. CMR introduced the molten delivery of aluminium in 2008, supplying through manufacturing facilities located near customer premises, and via road transport since 2013.
Since AIF Capital’s investment, CMR has diversified into additional metal recycling verticals, as well as adding numerous facilities nationwide. It has also continued to build its customer base and now serves most of the Indian automobile and ancillary component OEMs.
CMR is strategically positioned to meet the growing global demand for electric vehicles (EVs) through proactive investment and is providing eco-friendly green aluminium to the domestic Indian EV industry.
Established in 2005 and located in Jiangsu, China, X-FIPER is a high-tech enterprise specialising in meta-aramid fibres. X-FIPER was one of the earliest companies to industrialise meta-aramid materials in China. Such materials have high heat resistance properties and a wide range of downstream applications. In 2008, the company began manufacturing meta-aramid fibre and paper with its own proprietary technology, the quality of which is widely regarded to be on par with leading global players.
Meta-aramid fiber includes white fiber and colour fiber, both of which have high abrasion resistance, low shrinkage, chemical structure stability, resistance to acids, alkalis and organic chemicals. Meta-aramid paper is categorised as insulating paper and honeycomb paper, which are both known for high strength, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, excellent flame retardant and electrical insulation properties.
Its meta-aramid products have a wide range of applications. They have been widely used in areas such as aviation, high-speed rail, light rail, high-voltage insulation, fire service, industrial protection and high temperature filtration. The company’s products have also won the trust of leading companies both domestically and internationally.

Its reach extends to major retailers in the U.S., Europe, and across the Asia-Pacific region. It has a production base strategically located in Vietnam, which is home to a dedicated team of approximately 5,000 staff. Rochdale actively engages with key clients in the design process, enabling them to be integrated into recurring product lines that can last for many years.

Recognised as a key player in high-end manufacturing, Rochdale’s client roster includes distinguished names such as Restoration Hardware, and leading luxury hotel brands, such as Ritz Carlton.
AIF Capital made a minority investment in Rochdale to support factory expansion and working capital needs. The state-of-the-art proprietary manufacturing facility, completed in 2016, spans over 1,000,000 square feet. This facility stands as one of the largest purpose-built furniture manufacturing operations in Southeast Asia.
